Aparté is independently owned. The owner's name does not appear in the magazine; the institution is the byline.
Where the magazine covers a production in which its ownership holds an interest: coverage is limited to news and data; it carries the ownership disclosure; and the production is never reviewed, ranked, placed in a "best of" list, or considered for any Aparté honor. No exceptions, no quiet ones.
No staff attendance, no review. What we publish instead: preview guides (labelled), critic roundups (named critics, brief quotes, links), and audience-reaction pieces (labelled as audience reaction).
Interviews follow the tiers in our standards: our own bookings; electronic press kits and junkets via accreditation (approved quotes identified as such); public on-record conversations, embedded and attributed; published interviews quoted briefly, attributed and linked. Two sources for anything unannounced, or it is labelled reported-but-unconfirmed with the source named.
Ticket links are a reader service inside show coverage: official seller first, partners labelled, and no story is ever assigned because it can sell a ticket. Editorial photography is never used inside a commercial module. Job postings are free; employers receive no coverage consideration for posting, and none is implied.
Every photograph on the site is logged in our image register with its source, license and credit, and the credit prints on the page. We never lift images, never use generated imagery of real productions or people, and never caption a generic photograph as a specific show, venue or person.
