Aparté is published by roles, not personalities. This page names the desks that produce the magazine, states the byline policy that governs every signature on the site, and gives the routes by which the magazine can be reached and corrected. It is updated as the newsroom changes.
Accountable for what the magazine publishes: the standards summarized below, the corrections log, and the final read of every piece. If Aparté gets something wrong, the failure lands here.
Openings, closings, casting and announcements — the daily record of the stage, reported from primary sources: the companies, the houses, the unions.
Grosses, deals, labor and real estate — the stage as an industry, reported at trade standard.
The production database, the calendar, and The Ledger — the magazine’s instruments, compiled and reconciled by the published method.
The Callboard: listing moderation, employer verification, and the pay rule, enforced on every listing that runs.
For now, every article in Aparté is signed The Aparté Desk. The signature is a newsroom, not a person, and it is used deliberately: the magazine stands behind its method — published sources, published data, published corrections — rather than borrow authority from names. As the correspondent bench is built, named correspondents will sign their own work under their real names, and their bylines will be recorded on this page. Aparté does not invent staff, does not use pen names, and never puts a name on work that person did not do.
News tips, announcements and corrections: desk@apartemagazine.com. Corrections are also logged publicly on the Corrections page. Employers reach the Jobs Desk through the Callboard or at the same address. Press offices — accreditation, press kits, EPK access — are answered from the same address.
