Opened on October 4, 1926 as the New Palace Theatre, the Orpheum Circuit's Chicago flagship, designed by Rapp and Rapp in French Baroque style. It later operated as a movie palace and, from 1984, as the Bismarck Theatre. It was restored and renamed Cadillac Palace Theatre in 1999 and is operated by Broadway In Chicago.
