Opened on July 2, 1976 as the Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts, with Neil Diamond among its first headliners. The theatre survived the Aladdin's replacement by Planet Hollywood and has operated under several sponsor names, including The AXIS, Zappos Theater and Bakkt Theater, returning to PH Live in 2024. It is used for concert residencies, award shows and pageants.

The theatre is inside Planet Hollywood on the Strip, entered through the casino and Miracle Mile Shops.
